How to Request Data Deletion

1. Email Request:
Send an email to online@houseofgifts.lk with the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
Please include the following information in your email:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your HouseofGifts account
  • A brief description of your request (e.g., “Please delete my account and all associated data.”)

2. Facebook Login Users:
If you signed up or logged in using Facebook, you can also request data deletion by:

  • Sending an email to [your contact email] with your Facebook-linked email address and a request for data deletion.
  • Alternatively, you can use the Facebook “Remove App” feature. When you remove the HouseofGifts app from your Facebook account, we will receive a notification and process your data deletion request.

3. Contact Form:
You may also use our website’s contact form at facebook to submit your data deletion request.

What Happens Next?

  • We will confirm receipt of your request within 4 business days.
  • Your personal data and account information will be permanently deleted from our systems within 7 days, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal or regulatory reasons.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
